At Warmly, we believe that your personal relationships and the daily messages you share with loved ones should remain completely private. This Privacy Policy details how the Warmly application ("the App") and website handle your data.
Warmly is designed as a fully native macOS desktop application. We do not run cloud databases, tracking servers, or remote analytics tools. Everything the App requires to run is executed locally on your computer:
launchd architecture.The App sends morning check-ins and positive encouragement using your Mac's built-in Messages application. The messages themselves are processed by Apple's iMessage network or your mobile carrier's SMS protocols (if SMS forwarding is enabled on your connected iPhone). Warmly never handles, intercepts, or logs your messages outside of the local log database on your machine.
Warmly requests permission to read from your Mac's address book. This allows you to quickly import your chosen contacts, their phone numbers, and names without manual typing. The App only references the specific contacts you choose to import. No contact data is sent to Warmly developers or any third-party services.
License purchases and premium message packs are sold through Gumroad. When you buy on our website or in the app, checkout is handled by Gumroad, which collects payment and billing details needed to complete your purchase.
Gumroad emails you a license key after purchase. Warmly receives only what Gumroad shares with sellers for order fulfillment — typically your email address, name, and purchase details needed to support license activation. This marketing website uses minimal cookies to manage session tokens and licenses. We do not use intrusive advertising trackers, third-party remarketing pixels, or demographic profiling.
As Warmly runs entirely locally, any future changes to this privacy policy will be announced alongside App version updates. We are committed to maintaining the private-first architecture of Warmly indefinitely.
